Introducing Garmingo Voice

A private desktop app for voice enhancement, system-wide dictation, and meeting transcripts. On-device by default, fast enough to stay in flow.

Productvoice

Most voice tools ask you to pick a lane: clean up your mic, dictate faster, or transcribe meetings. Garmingo Voice puts all three in one calm desktop app, built for people who care where their audio goes and how fast words show up on screen.

Three flows, one app

Garmingo Voice is not a browser tab or a single-purpose recorder. It runs on your machine and covers the workflows that actually eat your day:

  1. Voice enhancement: real-time mic processing that cuts noise, echo, and harsh edges before anyone else hears you.
  2. System-wide dictation: push-to-talk from any app with a global hotkey. Text lands where your cursor is.
  3. Meeting transcripts: speaker-labelled, timestamped recordings you can skim, search, or ask AI about later.

Same app, same privacy model, no juggling three subscriptions.

Dictation that keeps up with you

Dictation is the feature most people feel first. Press the hotkey, speak, and your words appear in email, docs, tickets, Slack, or your IDE, whatever is in focus.

  • 99+ languages, with your language and accent detected automatically.
  • Custom vocabulary for names, products, and jargon you should not have to spell out every time.
  • Composer when you want more than a raw transcript: ramble in, get polished copy out.
  • Context-aware modes so tone and formatting follow where you are dictating.

Peak latency sits around 75 ms, which is the difference between thinking out loud and watching a spinner. For a deeper look at the hotkey and settings, see the dictation docs.

Meetings you can actually use

Recording a call is easy. Making sense of it later is not. Garmingo Voice captures meetings with speaker labels and timestamps, stores them in a local library, and lets you chat with the transcript when you need a summary instead of a rewatch.

That matters for standups, interviews, and anything you would otherwise leave as a 45-minute file you never open again.

Private by default

Your voice is personal. The default path keeps it that way:

  • On-device inference for core workflows. Audio does not leave your machine unless you turn on cloud features.
  • Cloud transcription is RAM-only when you do opt in: processed in memory, discarded when the job finishes. Nothing written to our disks.
  • EU processing for cloud workloads, with no training on your voice or transcripts.

We say this plainly because it is how the product is built, not a footnote in a privacy policy. If you want the longer argument for local AI, read why on-device beats cloud-only voice tools.

macOS and Windows

Garmingo Voice is available on macOS and Windows.

If you are new to Garmingo Voice, you can claim a one-time 7-day trial to run it through a real week of calls, emails, and notes before you commit.

Students and academic staff

Students and academic personnel get 40% off the Lifetime plan, pay once and keep Garmingo Voice through school and beyond. Teachers and other academic staff qualify too.

Verify your status in Account settings; once approved, the student price shows up automatically at checkout. See the student discount docs for the full flow.

Get started

Download the app, sign in once to activate your license, and dictate from the app you already have open. Cloud credits are there when you want extra speed or capacity; on-device work never touches them.

This is the foundation. We will keep tightening latency, expanding language coverage, and making the meeting workflow smarter, always with the same rule: your voice stays yours.
