Welcome to Garmingo

Why we build premium, intuitive software for teams of all sizes: EU-hosted Status for uptime, on-device Voice for speech, and one calm account to run both.

Companymission

We started Garmingo with a simple belief: excellent software should not be reserved for enterprise budgets. Operations teams, startups, and solo founders deserve tools that feel fast, thoughtful, and trustworthy without a six-figure procurement cycle.

That is why we build in Germany, host in the EU, and ship products that respect your time and your data. Today that means two products: Garmingo Status for uptime your customers can see, and Garmingo Voice for speech that stays on your machine. One account. Two workflows. The same quiet engineering underneath.

What we build for, every release

Before we talk about features, here is the bar we hold ourselves to on every release:

  • Privacy by default. Sensible defaults that protect your data. No dark patterns, no opaque telemetry.
  • EU-built, EU-hosted. Built and hosted in the European Union. GDPR-first. Your jurisdiction, your data.
  • Quietly engineered. Made in Europe by a small team that obsesses about reliability and speed.

Those principles show up differently in each product, but they never disappear when we ship a new monitor type or tighten dictation latency.

Made in Germany, hosted in the EU

Every Garmingo product is built in Germany and runs on EU infrastructure. That is not marketing copy. It is a constraint we design around from day one.

For Status, that means uptime data, incidents, and compliance reports stay in Germany with no replication outside the EU. For Voice, that means on-device inference by default and EU cloud processing when you opt in, with RAM-only transcription and no training on your content.

If you want the full privacy breakdown, read EU hosting and GDPR by default. This post is the welcome mat. That one is the blueprint.

Garmingo Status: uptime your customers can see

Status is for teams that need to detect problems, communicate clearly during an incident, and comply when someone asks for proof.

It is a hosted uptime platform: monitors, incidents, maintenance windows, public status pages, integrations, compliance reports, REST API, and team seats. One calm dashboard from first alert to customer communication.

Detect

Nine check types cover the basics and the edge cases: HTTP(s), ICMP ping, TCP, UDP, heartbeat (cron), manual, SSL certificate, SMTP, and DNS. Checks can run from global regions so you see availability where your users are. Your data still lives in Europe.

Intervals scale with your plan, down to 20 seconds when you need to catch outages fast, not minutes later.

Communicate

When something breaks, the right human needs to know quickly. Status ships 15+ integrations: Slack, Teams, email, OpsGenie, webhooks, and more, per monitor or globally. Incidents, maintenance windows, and subscriber updates stay in one place instead of scattered across chat threads.

Public status pages use your domain and your CSS. They look like you built them, while the ops data stays EU-hosted.

Comply

Regulated teams need more than a green dot on a dashboard. Status includes compliance targets, scheduled reports, and SLA tracking so you can answer audit questions without a spreadsheet scavenger hunt.

The free tier is real: monitors, a status page, no credit card. Upgrade inside the app when you outgrow the limits. Explore everything on the Status product page or in the Status docs.

Garmingo Voice: your voice, reimagined

Voice is the other half of the story. Where Status watches your services from the outside, Voice helps you work faster on the inside: cleaner calls, faster writing, and meeting notes you can actually use.

It is a private desktop app for voice enhancement, system-wide dictation, and meeting transcripts. Three flows, one app, private by default.

Voice enhancement

Real-time mic processing cuts noise, echo, and harsh edges before anyone else hears you. Useful on the road, in open offices, or anywhere a proper mic is not an option.

System-wide dictation

Push-to-talk from any app with a global hotkey. Text lands where your cursor is. 99+ languages, custom vocabulary for names and jargon, context-aware formatting, and peak latency around 75 ms so dictation feels like thinking out loud, not waiting on a server.

Meeting transcripts

Speaker-labelled, timestamped recordings you can skim, search, or ask AI about. Capture what mattered in a standup or interview without rewatching a 45-minute file.

Private by default

On-device inference runs core workflows without sending audio to us. Cloud features are opt-in, EU-hosted, RAM-only when you use them, and never used for training. Available on macOS and Windows.

One account, two products, free to start

You do not need separate logins or separate philosophies. Status has a free forever tier. Voice offers a one-time 7-day trial for new users. Both live under one Garmingo account in the dashboard.

That is intentional. The same team that cares where your uptime data lives also cares where your voice goes. Reliability and privacy are not product-specific slogans here. They are how we decide what to ship.

What comes next

Status and Voice are the foundation, not the finish line. We are building more products for teams that want calm software: fast interfaces, honest pricing, and infrastructure you can explain to your security team without a week of back-and-forth.
