Used Integrations

Count of active integrations—gauges alerting/automation channel adoption.

Count (or ratio) of integrations actively attached to at least one monitor or incident rule.

Interpretation

Rising count could mean broader alert coverage or alert sprawl—evaluate context.

Balance Point

Aim for coverage across: real-time chat, escalation (SMS/Call), durable tracking (Ticket), analytics (Webhook) without redundant duplicates.

Optimization Steps

  1. Group monitors by criticality.
  2. Assign high severity channels to Tier-1 monitors only.
  3. Route lower severity to chat + email (avoid SMS noise).
