Twilio Call

Automated voice calls for critical, high-severity incidents via Twilio.

Initiates an automated voice call for critical outages.

Setup

  1. Add Twilio Call integration.
  2. Add phone numbers (on-call rotation primary line first).
  3. Save and run a test during a safe window.

Call Script

Structured: Greeting → Event Type → Monitor/Page Name → Timestamp → Callback note.

Keep numbers current; stale rotations cause missed calls.

Escalation Pattern (Example)

  1. Place call to primary.
  2. If unanswered (N seconds), call secondary.
  3. Optionally escalate to manager after 2 failures.
